Last is my pond 2 years ago,
My showa being harvested by Fujio Oomo, photo by me in 2010,
bull fighting Japan style, they just push each other around he who is strongest wins!!

Cracking photo,s Andy it is my dream holiday to visit Japan. Very neat pond as well was looking at those air heaters are they reasonable to run over winter?.

Alex,
They do a very reasonable job in winter as long as the temp does not drop below -10/12 this is very near to there shut down temp, so some sort of back up would be an advantage, this winter so far no problem, last year was a bit extreme to say the least!
in summer they are just the bees nees with a 600% return very possible.
A good man to ask is Dave Collins, I know he keeps some very good information regarding his heat pumps and is always willing to help when he can.
